Executive Vice President, Property Management
As Executive Vice President of Property Management, Tonya Barnes is responsible for the operation, control and oversight of portfolio assets. Prior to joining Avanath in 2017, Ms. Barnes held senior management roles at KeyBank, N.A., and Alliant Capital as Vice President, Closing Manager responsible for overseeing annual production volume of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans. The various product types encompassed senior housing, student housing and/or multifamily communities financed with bonds or low -income housing tax credits. Ms. Barnes earned a B.S. degree in Business Organizational Management at Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, California.
