Chicago-based Equity Residential has sold the last of its Berkeley properties to Southern California-based Avanath Capital for $25.3 million.
The sale of Acton Courtyard, a 71-unit property at 1370 University Ave. in Berkeley, marks Equity’s exit from the East Bay city, a spokesperson confirmed.
