Liz Torres is the Vice President of Property Compliance at Avanath, dedicated to ensuring rigorous adherence to compliance standards within our Affordable Housing Portfolio. With over 16 years of experience in property management and regulatory oversight. Ms. Torres’ role also involves supervising and managing compliance strategies, developing policies, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence across our  various  properties. At Avanath, the Compliance Department collaborates closely to ensure that we not only meet but exceed regulatory requirements, aiming to provide quality affordable housing for our residents.

Ms. Torres holds Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Housing  Credit  Certified  Professional  (HCCP)  certifications  and  has  successfully completed compliance training for over multiple state agencies.
