Matt Gifford

Matt Gifford is the Vice President of Corporate Finance at Avanath Capital Management. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of fund accounting and reporting, tax, and corporate accounting. Matt began his professional career in public accounting, where he was an auditor for numerous financial institutions. Since making the transition into the private sector, he has worked in the commercial real estate industry where he was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for a diverse set of investment funds across multiple real estate asset classes. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and received a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
