As Vice President of Risk Management at Avanath, Ms. Nicole Gray plays a critical role in protecting the organization’s assets and ensuring company-wide risk mitigation. She leads the development and execution of comprehensive risk management strategies, including the creation and enforcement of policies, oversight of all insurance claims, and identification and evaluation of potential exposures across the company’s national portfolio. With over nine years of experience in the property management industry, Ms. Gray offers a unique blend of operational expertise and strategic risk leadership. She began her career as a Leasing Agent and progressed rapidly through the ranks; serving as Assistant Community Manager, Community Manager, and ultimately as Regional Operations Specialist. In that role, she provided oversight for 25 properties across six states, managing key operational reporting and leading onboarding initiatives to support regional performance and compliance. Ms. Gray’s career is defined by her ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and implement scalable solutions that strengthen the organization’s resilience.
